Day 201 - 11/30/12 Needs more low

Decided she's *still* riding to high in the front. So to achieve that "perfect" stance, we need to once again pull a Chip Foose and cut some more off the springs.

Dad simulating the new level of lowness that could be achieved, if the price is right.

About a third of coil this time, hopefully this will be it.

What's funny is each time we do this, the springs go in easier each time...! Needed to cut some off the control arm bump-stops this time too.

Day 200 - 11/26/12 Christmas garage

Thanksgiving time means Christmas lights time!

Day 199 - 10/8/12 Corvettes

What's funny is, I pretty much drive a Corvette now. I mean we've got the wheels, and now the steering wheel! Except the body isn't made out of fiberglass...

My Uncle Mike had a set of the stubby caps on his El Camino that he's not driving it anymore. So, I asked him if I could rock them on my car for awhile and he agreed. So just for fun and a different look, I've now got 'shallower' caps and I think it looks a lot cleaner.

Washing everything up and getting ready for the caps.

Installed! A different look, I like it.

Day 118 - 10/2/12 New steering wheel

Looks like we're back for another long overdue update. Just crazy how time flies.

I can remember on this day when we put this '72 Corvette steering wheel in the car, I had just got home from work as I was still wearing my America's Tire shirt. I had been wanting to get something different, something "cooler" than the stock one that was in there. Oh boy was that cool (still is!) 3 spoke aluminum wheel verses the original fully plastic covered one.

Using an old puller to break the spines apart, after centering and marking it, of course.

More pieces to the puzzle, man that made me even more proud!
